Budgeting is a long term project. Dont start with this app, its support runs out end of 2016. Its replaced with a cloud service that doesnt work with German banks.

This is an outstanding tool! Dont let it die. The new one isnt good.

YNAB was already a must-have budgeting tool, but the iPad app makes it even easier to stay on top of your finances. I particularly love the new ability to cover overspending with a quick tap. Get YNAB.

Crashes every time. It needs an immediate update to fix the bugs!

Using YNAB on Mac and iPhone. Excellent software dealing with a fairly complex concept and making it understandable and easy to use. I enjoy using it. Look forward to seeing even more features work their way into the iPhone app. Dropbox sync is a great design that really works well. Well done to all involved.

YNAB has really changed how I think about my money and taught me how to budget. Thanks for making it free for college students! One small detail that bugs me is that the grey arrows are too close to the right edge of the screen (at least on my device).

Last year I went from being single to in a relationship. The extra spending on dinners, vacations and going out were really starting to add up to some pretty serious anxiety. I had been single for years before, with a well paying career. YNAB helped me wrap my head around the spending and focus my money on keeping myself happy and my relationship vibrant. Id recommend YNAB to anyone looking to get spending and debt in order, or anyone looking to reduce stress and anxiety in relation to spending. The support is great and the desktop client is even better. I hope for iPhone 6 plus support as well as touchID soon :)

The app works quite well overall and is a great companion to the desktop app. However, entering income on the mobile app simply doesnt work as expected. When entering an income transaction, setting the category to Income available this month or any future month isnt an option. Its very annoying that the desktop app is necessary for entering general income properly...

Took a while to get used to, but this app helps reinforce one simple principle, you shouldnt spend money you dont already have. We used it for a few months then slipped off track and saw our debt grow, recently took the plunge back in and am looking forward to getting our budget back on track!

For the purchase price, it lacks update. Worried that the software/app will become obsolete and require to migrate all the data to another program in the near future.

This YNAB app is fantastic. It provides the most important mobile functionality needed to make budgeting in YNAB a part of your daily routine. Geolocating payees when you create a transaction saves me time and makes it feasible to track my spending on the go. Excellent work!

Acts just like the description; a companion app. Apart from adding/removing transactions, this app cant do much. If you need a more complete mobile finance app then look elsewhere. That being said if you rely on the desktop counterpart then you dont have much choice. While not being able to modify budget categories or accounts may be because youre supposed to plan everything in advance in the desktop app, this seems like a very shortsighted choice by the designers.

Ive been looking for a long time for a program that lets me budget the money I have rather then the money I MAY get. Its refreshing to be able to see at a glance what I have to spend without worrying if Ive gone into money set aside for bills! Thank you YNAB!
